Springfield flowers

Ah yeah, I bloody love flowers, mostly because I'm so old. If you don't like flowers, or pictures of them, you may want to self-censor. Some of the photos include children though . . .

Magnolia:

This tree flowers about this time of year, huge things, with no leaves on the tree at all. It's quite amazing.

They look like this once the petals fall off:

Hey look there's Ella (and her umbrella):

Manuka/kanuka/tea tree (pretty sure it's manuka but you tell me):

Weird bush that smells like a tea tree or something:

Daphne:

This one's back, minus pants:

Daphne smells nice (she may be eating it):

I don't know what these are but they're probably weeds:

P1010424

These are also unknown but are probably not weeds:

Ooo hello saucy:

P1010426

These ones look like they're made of wax or plastic but that can't be right:

P1010427

Don't need no umbrellas inside:

Please comment or Bethan comes to your house without pants and eats all your flowers.

Send her, no, send them both with bunches of flowers.

Wonderful pictures!

If the leaves are stiff and only really crease if you try to bend them, it's kanuka. If they're more flexible, it's manuka. There's a rule about the flowers too, I think they're bigger for kanuka. And kanuka is taller.

I realise that my suggestions sort of require you to have both so you can compare. Sweet photos anyway!

Who would comment with a threat like that!?

Pretty flowers and pretty girls. Nice.

Momentary disorientation - who has a big tattoo? No, it's Rachel's sleeve i think. You must now seriously consider whether you are heading towards a second/further career as a nutritionist, no: baker, no: TV cook. After Waterview send them on to Al Ain which has greenery but not many flowers. Umbrellas optional. They will love the Abu Dhabi Marina Mall fountain which fascinates with its attempt to imitate rain, with added rhythmic computerisation.
