OMFG BETHAN IS OLD!!!1!!ONE!

So I'm just gonna pretend I haven't forgotten to update all year so far, and just carry on as if nothing had happened.

Bethan turns One on the 15th April, so we had a few people round for her birthday at the weekend. This was the standard assortment you normally get at a first birthday party:

• various kinds of relative
• "default" friends, i.e. those children of the parents' friends that are around the same age as the birthday girl

. . . and all the better for it. A great time was had by all, food was eaten, presents were opened, songs were sung.

About the most exciting thing to happen in November was Uncle Rhys (Rach's brother) coming back from England, via our house. That's pretty exciting though!

• The girls went to the circus
• Alicia had a birthday
• We went to the Awapuni Donkey Stud Open Day
• Pop came to visit
• We planted our veges
• We took the bike trailer for a blat
